Book ahs shelfwear, edgwar, bumped corners, a cocked spine, and a former owner's stamp on the front endpaper; DJ has shelfwear, edgewear, some soft creases, bumped coraners, a touch of soiling, and a tear to the top of the front cover near the spine (about an inch). Interior is otherwise clean, unmarked, and tight. 8vo. - over 7¾' in - 9¾' in.

- Minor wear resulting from a book being place on, and taken from a bookshelf, especially along the bottom edge.
- Tight
- Used to mean that the binding of a book has not been overly loosened by frequent use.
- Cocked
- Refers to a state where the spine of a book is lightly "twisted" in such a way that the front and rear boards of a book do not...
- Spine
- The outer portion of a book which covers the actual binding. The spine usually faces outward when a book is placed on a shelf....
- Reprint
- Any printing of a book which follows the original edition. By definition, a reprint is not a first edition.
