SIGNED by both authors on the front free endpaper, with a personal inscription: "To (name of previous owner). A good friend and a gracious gentleman with the best wishes of the authors, Norman Vincent Peale, Smiley Blanton". The inscription appears to have been written by Blanton; Peale's signature is between the inscription and Blanton's signature, but in a different color and kind of ink. NOT ex-library. Hardcover has green paper-covered boards with yellow spine and cover lettering. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with fraying and chipping at tips and spine ends. Boards exposed at tips. Covers have moderate edge wear and surface rubbing. Front free endpaper and three other pages are dog-eared. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. 247 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
