Excellent Grey boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. No dustjacket, presumed as issued. Housed in the pictorial slipcase which has chipping, light staining to the cloth section, light smudge marks and a tear to paper/card of the edge of the spine - now neatly repaired. There are No Inscriptions or other Marks. 224pp. Illustrated with b/w plates. Techniques; References; Biographies; Index. Overall, apart from the 'faults' to the slipcase, as detailed above, this is a Clean and Tight, Near 'Fine' copy. "The major theme of this work Is the development, application and significance of zoological illustrations since the Renaissance." This book is overweight and very heavy at 2. 4kg and MAY require extra postage depending on your location. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall .
