New Series: Nos. 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 36. (London: J.S. Virtue: January 1887 - December 1887, but lacking August) These were perhaps intended to be bound; as it is, they are in their original decorated wrappers (that is, paper covers) and loosely housed in cloth boards decorated and printed ('Art Journal') in gilt on the front. June 1887 is the Royal Jubilee Number Some wear to the extremities of the wrappers; the October 1887 number has a large piece torn from a corner of the front wrapper, and LACKS TWO LEAVES OF TEXT; otherwise they are in generally good order.
