Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1926. First Edition. Cloth. Good. First edition. Red cloth. No jacket. 276 pp. Black and white photo plates throughout. An account of the airplane journey around the world undertaken by Edward Evans, accompanied by the author, Linton Wells. Wells, a noted US foreign correspondent, documented their record setting time and their brief experiences in countries around the world, including Omsk, Russia; Manchuria, Korea, etc. GOOD condition. Ex-marine historical association library, with a bookplate on the inside front cover. No other library treatments present. Minor scuffing, fading and soiling to the covers. Extremities a bit scuffed and frayed. Light toning to the text block. Some of the photo plates rather foxed.
