VG/Good, a clean, unmarked copy; unclipped jacket spine toned with a few water stains, one side of spine taped on underside. This book contains a selection of Beerbohm's essays from his 12-year stint as dramatic critic of the Saturday Review, from 1898-1910. A lively decade of London theatre - playwrights including GB Shaw, Ibsen, Barrie, Yeats, Synge, Wilde; producers including Gordon Craig; the actresses including Bernhardt, Duse, Ellen Terry, and actors including Coquelin, Forbes-Robertson, George Alexander, Dan Leno and Charles Hawtrey..
