To which are subjoined, Observations on Weights and Measures, with a complete collection of arithmetical tables, and explanatory remarks; also, a copious index of persons, places, and things, occasionally treated of, or mentioned in the work." Sold by J. Mawman, J. Debrett, T. Conder, and E. Newbery. xvi, 270, [18] p.; 21 cm. Contemporary calf spine. Lacking boards. Preface is dated Nov. 1, 1801. Preliminary pages contain A List of Books, Published by the Same Author, For the Use of Young Ladies. The final page contains corrections related to "The printing of this volume which was begun in 1799, having been, by various unexpected circumstances, retarded till 1801." Scarce. In Fair Condition: lacking boards; staining and foxing throughout; textblock is solid.
