About This Item

N.p.: N.p. [Joint Committee on Railroads and Canals], 1848. Paperback. Small 4to. Original green printed wrappers. 38pp. Very good. Slightest of wear to outer wrappers (only), though internally fine and bright. The Boston and Lowell Railroad feared "nothing short of the ruin of the Boston and Lowell Railroad Corporation" because of a loophole that allowed competitors to intersect their lines at will, without having to prove "public convenience -- this is their detailed, technical objection. Exceptionally attractive copy. First edition. Not in Sabin.
