Disbound copy, needs rebinding. Rear cover present, front cover and spine missing; sewing intact but first signature loose; some marginal stains and internal stains to some leaves; tears to margins of a few leaves). First blank inscribed: 'Margaret Watkins from Mama & Papa'. 'Especially valuable because of the list of names of pioneers before 1850' - Graff. Howes notes that there are 35,000 of them.
