Havana: Instituto del Libro, 1967. Paperback. 475p. + [ii], bright green wraps; spine slightly creased, faint shelf wear on covers, otherwise in very good condition. Mostefa Lacheraf was an information officer of the FLN or National Liberation Front of Algeria. In 1956, he was arrested with four members of the original National Council of the Algerian Revolution while boarding a flight to participate in a conference with the Sultan of Morocco and the Tunisian Premier Habib Bourguiba to advocate for a solution to the conflict in Algeria. They remained imprisoned until 1962.
