London: Christies Auction House, 1998. 48p., plus unpaginated materials (terms &c) and a dozen or so colorphoto exhibit photos and X-rays. Prof.Archimedes (circa 250 BCE) is given the standard blockbuster treatment, but here on a single item (tenth century Byzantine ms on vellum), heavily annotated. Softbound in 10.5x8.5 inch glossy colorphoto wraps. Rear cover's foredge is slightly curled and discolored, an else as-new copy, clean and unmarked. FYI, cataloguing texts were composed mostly by non-Christie specialists, and have been re-published or covered by Cambridge and other book publishers.
