Creators Syndicate, Inc., 2007., 2007.. Very good. - An original pen & ink drawing consisting of 3 panels drawn on 5 inch high by 14-1/2 inch wide Bristol board . Drawn and inked by Henry Scarpelli from a story by Craig Boldman, the strip portrays Veronica telling Archie that she's "for making the world green!" to which Archie replies "As in Money?" Leroy goes on to inform them that he's doing his bit, announcing that "I switched to a hybrid skateboard!". Signed "Henry Scarpelli & Craig Boldman" along the right edge of the first panel., with the date "9-14" inked at the bottom right of the second panel. The syndicate's credits, printed on a strip of paper, are mounted between the first and second panel and Archie comics web site address, also printed on a strip of paper, is mounted between the last 2 panels. There are editorial markings in blue graphite in the margins and the date "9-14" followed by the number "2022" are penciled at right along the top margin. Archie Comic Publications' credits are stamped on the verso. Very good. <p>The American comic book artist Henry Scarpelli (1930-2010) won recognition for his work on D.C. comics "Date With Debbi" and "Leave It To Binky", earning him the Shazam Award for Best Inker in 1970. He went on to draw the daily Archie comic strip through the 1990s and 2000s.<p>Craig Boldman wrote the scripts for the Archie comic strips from 1992.
