Tan cloth with beige title block on spine; 280 pp., BW figures and tipped-in plates, one fold-out map. A collection of 29 essays (most in English, with five in French and one in German) on a variety of archaeological and Islamic art topics, assembled as a tribute to German archaeologist and Iran expert Ernst Herzfeld (1879-1948).
