With black and white photos throughout, as well as a fold out map in the rear. A well written recounting of Thesiger's journey through the Arabian Desert, including the Empty Quarter, revealing the lifestyles of those who call it home. GOOD condition. Uneven fading and scuffing to the jacket, with light soiling and some toning. Jacket extremities scuffed, with some chipping, tearing and creasing. Uneven fading and toning to the book. Minor bumping to the edges. Owner's signature on the title page.
