Contemporary full brown calf prize binding, spine with black morocco label and gilt floral designs within gilt ruled compartments; upper cover with large gilt design of Huddersfield College, rear cover with gilt seal, marbled edges and endpapers (rubbed; light foxing). Very good. Includes chapters on iron and wrought iron, bronze and bronze statues, gold and silver, enamels, electrotype process, porcelain, terra cotta and glass. Prize book awarded to William Wrigley - Prize for Mechanical Drawing with special bookplate signed by Principal, Samuel Sharpe, June, 1859 on the front pastedown.. Signed by Author(s). Hardcover.
