About This Item

University of Tennessee Press, 1987. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good-. Hardcover:Blue, cloth binding with title on spine in silver. Colored paste-downs and endpapers are spotless. Title, text pages printed on off-white matte paper are clean, with occasional light pencil underlining. Nice tight binding. Very nice dust jacket shows light soil and edgewear. Slightly sun faded spine. Very desirable copy in protective mylar. This book convincingly demonstrates that the development of Appalachian regionalism must be understood in a context that stretches from Neolithic people to the Lowlanders descendants in Ulster and contemporary America.
