Good/ Good (Book- fading to cloth at extremities and where loss to jacket, previous ower name and date '42 in ink to front free end paper. War economy paper of book block evenly tanned with light dust spotting to top edge. Dust Jacket - rubbed creased and chipped, some dust soiling/ tanning to exposed edges of flap folds and to white title to spine. Old parcel tape reinforcement to reverse at head of spine, non price clipped - cover 7s6d. Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve. No other notable defects). A sound reading copy of the first edition.
