Edinburgh: Printed for Fairbairn & Anderson et al, 1821 First edition thus. Hardcover book . Full leather, gilt title on red label to spine, gilt decorations to spine, and gilt border lines to main boards; tinted page edges. xv, 408pp. With frontispiece engraving of Richard Watson, and Memoir of him (two thirds of the book is taken up with Watson's Apology). A small but nicely produced volume, 13 x 8cm. Good+ condition. Well bound pages, some wear to the covers including loss of part of lower spine (backstrip), and to top corners of spine. Pages have general light browning and a few small spots. Tiny hole to a couple of pages over text, which is readable. Pictures available.
