Boards are scuffed, leather corners rubbed, front board detached, spine cover lifting at the bottom half, spine gilt still quite attractive. Interior clean and unmarked, a trace of humiditing staining in the top edge. Attractive marbled edges. Scarce copy of the first US edition of this reexamination of the Apocalypse by the Anglican Irish author and divine. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 319 pages .
