Ring stain on front board, spine toned, boards soiled. Binding tight, pages clean, bright, and unmarked. 1930 Hard Cover. vi, 340 pp. This edition was limited to 1825 copies, 900 for distribution in Great Britain and Ireland, another 900 for the United States, and 25 to be retained by the publisher, all hand-numbered and signed by the author, and printed from hand-set type on English hand-made paper. Last novel by the Irish author, set in Greece. Moore was a naturalistic writer influenced by Emile Zola and other French realists. Considered one of the first great modern Irish novelists, his work inspired James Joyce.

Yesterday's Muse Inc. is an independent used & rare bookseller that has been in operation for over 15 years. We opened our first 'brick and mortar' storefront in December of 2008 in our hometown of Webster, NY.Owner Jonathan Smalter is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America (ABAA), former vice president of the Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA), both of which are trade organizations created to promote ethical online selling practices, and to encourage continuing education among fellow booksellers. He is also a 2011 graduate of the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS).
