London: London: Printed and Published for Edward Jeffery,, 1807. Complete in 4 volumes. Books measure 13 1/2 x 10 3/4 inches. Complete with 187 engraved plates, some folding, including hand coloured double page illustration of '' Fire of London ''. Lacking a plate that was originally ommited, but later added to some copies. Bound in full period calf, raised bands, gilt and blind stamp tooling to spine and boards, full marble edges, marble endpapers. Calf rubbed, some abrasion wear on edges, hinge joints split, one board detached, others holding but tender. Internally, occasional light spotting. Pages and plates in good clean condition. A nice clean set, in attractive period bindings. . New Edition. Full Period Calf. Large Quarto.
