New York: Doubleday, Doran & Company, 1928. First Edition Stated. HB. Quarter brown cloth and paper covered boards with black lettering on the front cover, gilt lettering on spine, large 12mo, 260 pp., yellow endpapers, top edge of text block stained blue. With further illustrations, elucidations and wood-cuts by Booth Tarkington. No marks in book, binding solid. Minor moisture stain last half of book at top of pages, not affecting text, lacking ffep. Front hinge cracked. Covers show minor soiling, bottom corners worn. Still, a decent copy of this poorly produced work. Gilt lettering on spine readable but faded. Book condition VG-.
