The Activities of this office include instruction in the use of research materials, consultation with faculty and students upon bibliographical problems, the acquisition of books and manuscripts important for research, the acquisition of original musical manuscripts and first editions of scores for the Memorial Library of Music, the preparation of one or more printed catalogues relating to the music collection, etc. 8 unmarked pages. Frontis shows Mr. Pierre Monteux and Mr. van Patten examine Mascagni's manuscript of his Cavalleria Rusticana. Just under 9 x 6 with 8 unnumbered pages. Signed by Nathan Van Patten at Title Page.
