New York, NY: W. W. Norton & Company, Incorporated. Near Fine with no dust jacket. 2008. Softcover. For anyone who loved Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales, this book will be a gem to own. Part One includes twelve tales for children, beautifully illustrated by Arthur Rackham and others, and notated at the sides in red. Part two includes twelve tales mean for adults, but you probably read them as a child just as I did. Those have the same treatment as Part One. Part Three has a biography of Andersen, as well as his illustrators. Part Four discusses Andersen's reading admirers, and Part Five is a bibliography. The front cover corners are somewhat bent up from shelf wear, but the book is new. There is a very light smudge on the vertical ends. ; 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall .
