London: Printed by Charles Bill, and the Executrix of Thomas Newcomb, deceas'd, 1705. Book. Fair. Full-Leather. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Brown leather binding. Condition: Fair, covers are quite rubbed and worn, particularly around spine and cover corners. Covers are a little loose but the binding is sound. Rear endpapers and last few pages of text have some wormholes.Previous owners name on front endpaper and next blank page, together with some small notes to front and rear endpapers. This book contains the text of an act for those concerned to pay duty to the crown for various types of alcohol to finance the "War against France and Spain" amongst other things. To the rear of the book are two tables of allowances, one for "Maltsters on the Cistern and Couch gauges" and the other for"Malsters on the Floor". .
