Otherwise complete. -- Chronological list of events, page or two of explanation, starting year 1545. **This copy includes a very early photograph of HMS Victory** tipped in at p.131, section "1805 Lord Nelson's Last Embarkation from Portsmouth." -- Hardcover, attractive red cloth with gilt and black decoration. Condition: poor: lacks content as described; binding broken; cover moderately worn and stained; pages are mostly clear and bright, the occasional foxing and margin tear.
