London, Guilielmi Stansbij, Simonis Watersoni, 1615 1st. Hardback, 11.5 x 7 inches. Bound in full polished calf leather binding with raised banding to spine, gilt decoration to outer edges, red speckled page edges. In very good condition. Some surface rubbing and handling marks to cover, corners bumped, bottom corners chipped, large rubbed patch to front. Endpapers lifted from insides of boards and creased. Inside pages all exceptionally bright and clean. Pages 1-2 of ‘Apparatus’ appears to have been double inserted, with extra page half torn out. Handwritten lettering to outer top corner of page block “Camden, Annals.” Else a very good clean and tight copy. 499pp + index. With decorative letter, head and tail-pieces.
