London: Macmillan & Co, 1932. Book. Illus. by Tresilian, Stuart. Good. Hardback. First Thus. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. A good copy, red cloth with black design to the front board, with titles and decoration to the spine, some fading to red boards at edges but otherwise clean. 215pp (1) with 8 coloured plates, as called for and numerous black and white illustrations all by Stuart Tresillian. In very good original decorative and unclipped dust jacket (6/-net) to the front flap, some minor wear to edges, but very attractive. and list of author's children's titles to the rear panel. The only version of this work to have 8 full colour plates.
