ANGRY! Pilot Issue

  • Used
[Edinburgh]: [Freedom Press], ca. 1982. First edition. Very good with a small stain to upper front edge of cover. Folded format with 6 numbered pages and 9 loose-leaf inserts laid in. Scarce. ANGRY! Is a militant anarcho-punk zine from Edinburgh, Scotland deeply rooted in The Class War movement. Inserts include an interview with the band Discharge, two pages of lyrics from the first and only record by Assasins of Hope, Political Asylum, an article on the Class War ‘Bash the Rich’ Summer Offensive, and rantings entitled, Wise Up, Mugs! Also included is a flyer for Angry! Class War, Singles which discusses bands and singles, and a flyer reviewing bands such as 4-Minutes, Terminal Damage, Napalm Death, Andy T. ANGRY! The Pilot Issue is seemingly impossible to find. It offers a real look at the anarcho-punk scene abroad in England and Scotland.
