Art illustrated dustjacket price-clipped, edgeworn and scuffed, with a jagged closed tear, top of rear panel. A 'different' kind of fishing book, dealing with the history of Thames salmon, London's first tackle shops, the private life of Izaak Walton, the origin of the reel, Built-cane rod, the eyed hook and other long-forgotten scraps of queer information.
