Original black cloth, silver lettering. 203 p.p. Spine slightly tilted. Dust jacket has some light chafing to joints and extremities, bumping to spine ends, small chip to spine head. Amos Walker is hired by a beautiful nightclub dancer whose diamond ring leads to an ex-con who is now the powerful head of the United Steelhaulers Union. The tangle takes us from Detroit's glittering Renaissance Center to the seamier side of the city, to a missing judge, jealous mistress, and vengeful son. It is a trail littered with bodies, a wild ride through a tough world that leaves terror in its wake.
