As noted in the preface, translated into modern terminology, Burton's title would read, "An Analysis of Morbid Psychology." A rather handsome copy of this rather uncommon volume. Light shelf wear, one corner through, joints starting, rear cracked, touch of fraying at head and heel, spine evenlyl lightly and evenly toned, presentation letter tipped in at ffep, else tight, bright and unmarred. Blue cloth boards, red ink labels, gilt lettering and decorative elements. 8vo. 1036pp (including 2pp Errata).
