In sheet as published, uncut and preverved under the original printed wrappers. Complete with the orginal publisher's half cloth portfolio (spine faded and slightly worn; the boards dust soiled). Over 300 drawings by Richer. ¶ Copy with ample margins. The work is divided into 2 parts (anatomy & morphology). One of the most impressive works of Richer, artist at "la Salpêtrière" put the study of medicine in relation to art upon a sound footing. See Garrison & Morton 6605-07. --(Outer edges slightly foxed, text and plates clean).
