This book is a thorough study of Anatolian kilims and centres around the Caroline and H.McCoy Jones Collection (now in the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco) which is generally acknowledged as the greatest of its kind anywhere in the world. The 110 kilims in the collection, most of which are datable to before the 18th century, include many of the earliest and finest examples of particular kilim design types..
