About This Item
Palo Alto, CA: American West Publishing Company, 1974. Second Printing . Hard Back. Very Good/Good. 8 3/4" X 11 1/4. 191 pages. Indexed. Exterior of dust jacket is clean and shows minor shelf wear signs: some color fading, abrasions along the edges and corners. Inside is clipped on the bottom right corner of the front flap. Exterior of the book itself shows no obvious signs of wear other than the bottom of the spine having a bump. Binding is holding up fairly well, and is still completely intact. Interior text has no markings or visible damages, other than something in the top right corner of the first page being blacked out with permanent marker. Includes photographic notes and details. Out of the darkness of prehistoric time rise the ruins of great stone cities, once the centers of a bustling civilization, now crumbling empty and windswept in the lonely reaches of the American Southwest. They stand as haunting monuments to a remarkable people who designed and built them, stayed for a few centuries, and then vanished.
