Privately Printed, 1881. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Good ; No jacket. 1881 Privately Printed, Castalia, Erie County, Ohio. NOT ex-library. Hardcover has brown cloth-covered boards with a paper spine label. Spine title: Scripture Read Spiritually. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Small loss of cloth at head of spine. Spine and covers near spine sun faded. Front hinge pulled. Binding cracked at title page, with small tears at the sewn points; not loose. Main text binding is sound. A few random pen marks on the rear endpaper, otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. 263 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
