Dust jacket has sunned spine small closed end tears at top front edge, chip missing front top rear edge and bottom corner chip, frayed headband and tail of spine. Book is square and clean, with crisp corners and red tinted top edge. Outer edge has thumb index tabs. Front and read pastedowns and free endpapers show patterned initials AV in red with grey daisies and light foxing in gutters. 738 pp. Text in near fine condition with no markings or prior owner attribution. Text shows no sign of ever being read.
