A translation in similar word style to the Authorised Version but with expanded text, often in round brackets (additional meanings of the original) or square brackets (explanatory text). Done from the Westcott and Hort Greek text, though some passages which are included in Textus Receptus versions but not in the critical text are included, in italics or in ordinary type. Mrs Frances E Siewert (1881-1967) began her Bible translation in 1952 when she was already in her early 70s, with the final volume issued 12 years later. Obviously there are many problems with such an expanded text, but nevertheless some may find it useful alongside other aids.. Hard Cover. Good.
