Denver, CO: The H. H. Tammen Curio Company, 1900. Undated, ca. 1895-1905. Large softcover book with dramatic photos by this noted photographer, a wonderful record of life in the Rockies during this time period, picturing not only the dramatic scenery but towns, railroad engineering feats in the mountains, Glenwood Sprints, gold mining in Cripple Creek, etc., all presented in black and white. Softcover, about 11 inches tall and 12.5 inches wide, 72 pages. Worn condition, with contents separated from the covers and most of the pages separated into sections. Covers have a spine split about halfway up, edgewear, no chips. The pages have light edgewear but no chips other than a small bumped area at the top edge affecting the very far top margin of the first few pages, not affecting any printed areas. Pages clean with a little age-toning to the outer edges, no names or other markings.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Fair. Oblong 4to.
