Vintage Hardcover with DJ, and all 10 fold-out ballistics charts and 6 additional fold-out tables present and unmarked, Stated Victory Edition 1943 William Morrow 374 pages. Very Good, in a Good+ DJ. Minor shelf/edge wear and edge fading to light blue cloth boards with white titles and black accents-one corner lightly bumped. Small nick to edge of the rear cover. Binding solid. Moderate shelf/edge wear, edge chipping, dust soiling and a few closed tears to original un-clipped DJ - now in mylar. Previous owner name (Fred M. Lewis, Engineering Department) stamped on FFEP and minor offsetting to end papers. Book traces the development of ammunition from the beginning of the paper musket cartridge to the present day(1943). Covers both early and modern pistol or revolver cartridges as well as foreign and American sporting cartridges. Also covered are .50 caliber, 20mm, 37 mm and 40mm shells. All 10 fold-out ballistics charts and 6 additional fold-out tables are present and unmarked. A very handsome vintage copy with a respectable DJ. LOC SSS-30
