He was also the originator of the extremely popular comic strip "Mamma's Angel Child" for the Chicago Tribune and worked with Walt Disney before he made his own company.
Elizabeth Gordon was a fantasy author and poet. Her book 'Butterfly Babies' Book' is a short children's fantasy collection of poems that anthropomorphize butterflies giving them names and stories while giving information through poetry on the trees and flowers they eat and take shelter from. The book ends with an area for the reader to notate when they see butterflies and what butterflies they see.
This charming children's book of poems contains color illustrations from Ross on each page of each butterfly including on the cover boards!
