Each issue is one or more 22 1/2" x 35" sheet, printed 2 sides and folded to 16 pages. Published by Richard R. Smith and edited by George Jean Nathan, Ernest Boyd, Theodore Dreiser, James Branch Cabell, and Eugene O'Neill. Articles include: Havelock Ellis - The Physician and Sex; Frank Swinnerton - English and American Publishers; Theodore Dreiser - The Great American Novel; Sean O'casey - Laurel Leaves and Silver Trumpets; Eugene O'Neill - Second Thoughts; Sherwood Anderson - To Remember; The Line-Up; Branch Cabell - Lament for Falstaff; Aldous Huxley - Alypius in a Brown Shirt; John Dos Passos - The Persian Merchant and the Red Army Soldier; Notes on the Back of a Passport; Mildred Cram - Author in Hollywood. Editorials include Nazi Germany and Hollywood. Toning to the paper, tenderness at some folds, one issue has old repair along the horizontal fold. Overall very good. . 1st. Soft Cover.
