Other sheets are longer 8-1/2 x14" vertical ruled old white paper stock, contain owner's [owner's name handwritten on front endpaper, "Paul F. Smith, Gunnery #3" Paul F. Smith, Ph.D., was Professor Emeritus, University of North Texas] handwritten notes: aged handwritten papers in black fountain pen ink of numerous longitude and latitude formulas and numbers, diagrams and notes in this technical maritime and marine book, this edition printed at beginning of World War II.
