Ex-institutional copy with only an old handwritten call number label to spine, small label to front pastedown, and a small number in ink to title page. Full mottled dark brown leather with gilt-lettered red title label to spine. Heavy edgewear, rubbing, scratches, and cracking to leather (which will be treated with Talas leather dressing prior to shipment). Spine ends and corners bumped and chipped. Rear joint starting to split. Binding quite sound though ffep is loosely attached. Interior moderately toned and foxed. Text unmarked. Minor dampstaining along gutters of last several pages. Upper corners of first two blanks are clipped. Early prev owner name and note in pencil to front pastedown. Not illustrated. 744 pp.
