Number 23 of 180 copies in the first edition, signed on the colophon by both Saxe and DePol. xii, 108 pp, with index and bibliography, illustrated with wood engravings by DePol. A fine copy in original beige cloth with leather spine label. Following the introduction, each chapter describes a different press, including the Stanhope, Columbian, Ruthven, Wells, Stansbury, Smith, Washington, Albion, Union, Tufts, Philadelphia and Bronstrup, Foster, and Ruggles presses.
