G/poor, used, hc, v-xxiii, 485pp. Interior clean no marks except a date at the top edge of the ffep, a gift inscription from former owner also on the ffep. There is also a 1945 migration bird hunting stamp pasted to the front free end paper. DJ is worn and torn, large chip at the head of the dj spine, tiny tears to edges, dj corners are worn. This edition does not have the photographic images of any of the Indian races..
