Philadelphia: William Wood & Company. Good. 1897. Nineteenth Edition. Hardcover. Woodcuts; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 758 pages; 1897 William Wood & Company. HC 19th edition. In original pebbled green cloth with pictorial vignette to cover and titles to spine in gilt. Binding somewhat shaken; hinges weak with endpages split in the gutters, now reinforced with archival japanese paper. Light fray to cloth at spine ends; gilt at spine a bit dulled. Light to moderate general toning to page stock, illustrated with woodcuts throughout. Prior ownership penned at front. Good only .
