Original 1859 copyright, 1860 printing, leather bound, black title band on spine with gold lettering, missing lower leather title band, pale pink endpapers, 1512pp. Cover moderately worn but still rather attractive--outer tips of corners worn through, 1" tear at bottom of front hinge; front endpaper split at hinge but cover still held securely; endpapers lightly foxed; dampstain on first 20 or so pages (no mildew, not musty; some pages lightly foxed, minor dampstains; sound binding; no marks or writing.
