One volumes has library markings. Light wear., fading to several spine. Clean, unmarked pages. <br> The series began as the successor Charles Evans' bibliography of American imprints to 1800 under the auspices of Ralph Shaw and Richard Shoemaker, and after the volume covering 1819 was completed to 1846 by Shaw and a coterie of other bibliographers. A standard and highly useful work for American printing in the first four decades of the 19th century. This is an oversized or heavy book, that requires additional postage for international delivery outside the US.
