Attributed to Edgar Rice Burroughs but actually written by John Coleman Burroughs. A shorter version with a different ending was published as a Better Little Book in 1940 as "John Carter of Mars." Tymm and Ashley, Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Weird Fiction Magazines, pp. 14-49.
